To be honest I had to go searching for the originals to both Elodie’s and CdP’s versions. I love CdP’s take on “Mistral Gagnant” (dislaimer: Ms Martin could read the shipping forecast and I would be spellbound) – but I really like Elodie’s version of “Il pleut” stands-out. I’s like to comment on the rest of the album, but the label haven’t seen fit to release it over here..
