Not to be confused with Julien Clerc’s daughter, this Vanille is Rachel Leblanc, from Canada. Her ‘Fleur’ single ticks ALL the boxes of the things we love here about soft-focus French pop music.

Louise named herself after the famous street where Gainsbourg used to live (and sort of re-lives nowadays). Her first album is just fantastic. See this live clip, get enamoured too.
