Iliona, from Brussels, is singing a song of heartbreak, or is she just thinking about what heartbreak is like? Seule, with that church like organ, and Iliona looking like the virgin Mary at the start of this video, has a very serious vibe, but the lyrics (translated in this video to English) confuse me. What do you think? Is this the real life, is this just fantasy?

Also want to point out how much I appreciate her English captions — I have compared lyric translations and her captions avoid that lost in translation thing I so commonly encounter.
Her whole album is about a failed relationship, but this one, coming at some distance from the initial album release, does seem like a fading echo of the experience.
I’m slightly annoyed that the current release of the album contains more tracks than the initial, but am still happy that there is new material to enjoy.
