SteveInSoCal is spot on there, I don’t believe there’s a weak track or a filler on this cracking album, she certainly has put her mind to it here, top top tunes all the way, great vocal performances, surf pop guitars, Yeh Yeh and 70’s soft focus french erotic movie soundtrack vibes (Chambre 23), it’s shiny pop alright but it’s not at all veneer or simply an excercise in 60’s/70’s stylings, she feels it, this record has got soul! A joy!

All of which goes to show that when Vanessa CQ piuts her mind to it, she is more than capable of crafting a quality pop-tune… Here’s hoping the album gets a US release
