Charlotte Gainsbourg in the remix; it usually leads to something good. Take Superpitcher’s remix of The Operation, or Diskjokke’s version of IRM. Recent case in point: Joakim’s rework of Paradisco. A tribute to the long hypnotic disco-re-rubs of dj-legend Larry Levan. The dub-version, with more volatile vocals, is downright brilliant. Watch out for those lasergun salvo’s!
