I waited a while to get the CD and, now I have it, I must say it’s great. “Wet Boy” on Jools was beautiful and the album version is just as good. I saw her in Hackney last week and it was a brilliant show, swinging lights and all.

Was quite enchanted by her appearance (thanks to spoofing my IP address to place me some 6,000 miles closer to the UK than I am…). From what little heard the album appears to be her most accessible to date – although I’m always a little disappointed when <> start singing in English – especially when the bloody album (heaven forbid mp3) isn’t available here in the States – torrent anyone?
